Thesis defense

3 November 2017, Free University Amsterdam

Friday 3 November 2017 was then finally the day that I could defend my thesis.  Together with paranimfs Fokje Schaafsma and Ole Mueller I survived the 10 minute talk and 50 minute questions by the international PhD committee until I was finally released by  Hora est!  I’ m so proud and happy that I could share this important moment with so many friends, family members and colleagues. It was the scariest and happiest day of my life, but I am proud to belong to now be part of the international club of doctors!
